Prison Reform/Injustice By Javonte Hodges
I chose to write about these two things because I feel we need change in them the most. You see the people on the outside of the fence, taxpayers if you will, honestly don’t know what their money is going towards. And there’s no justice behind a person going to prison behind whatever crime they commit, because it only changes a few in a positive way. Let me tell you why…
Prison’s are basically farms and warehouses that they place other human beings into servitude/slavery which is the 13th amendment. But for all those the crime was committed against what way does it help them?? And for those who committed the crime how does it help them??
The states in which the prison’s are ran, get tremendous funding for programs, but they place stipulations on who, when, and why a person is able to attend. But yet they call it the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. If there are stipulations how can we all be rehabilitated??
They’re also managed by people who don’t understand people. Trained to treat the incarcerated like they don’t matter. And constantly try to program them as if the world has written them off. Not True… But we’re portrayed as bad people, the worst of the worst. Smh
I think we, as in the people, failed to realize God made the worst of men and women, the best of them. And if God can forgive us all (Humanity) Why can’t we do the same??
Is there a human better than God??
Not at all..
