As-Salaamu Alaikum

Peace and blessings of Allah is needed at all times in the world we live in. Our communities whether they’re urban, rural, suburban, religious or migrating need our prayers. The violence we see in cities across the US is getting uncontrollable. The youth have no guidance and there’s not enough help to combat the savage ways they have come to embrace. The images we see on our local news and national news of bickering and a failure to come together for the greater good of humanity is one of the main problems facing society. Politicians and others in power understand the mathematics and financial gain of war regardless of whether it’s gang wars in poverty riddled communities or war between countries abroad. We see how wars between other countries seem to benefit the US financially one way or the other. We send troops to their countries and offer “assistance” so the printing of unlimited money and passing of bills continue within our government. This never helps those in need in other countries in my opinion. Innocent people are dying from air strikes in Ukraine and Gaza. The difference is the US supports Ukraine and doesn’t support those who need protection in Gaza from the Israeli Army. We have two old men running for President of “The Most Powerful Nation” in the world who argue like 12 year old children. As a prisoner who has found peace through Islam I can’t help but notice these things. I pray for world peace, as we all should!
